This elegant vintage silk haori is white and red shibori design. Haori are coats worn atop of Japanese kimono, as an added layer of warmth and some protection from the elements. Haori are not designed to close in the front, and hang open. The shibori on this haori is most likely authentic.
If a haori came to us with its haori himo attached, we leave them in place.
- Haori Condition: B+, gently used vintage ready to wear condition with some minor scuff discolorations that might be possible to clean. Might have minor flaws that have no serious impact on wear or presentation. The shibori on the interior has small holes in the fabric, which is normal of the process of producing real shibori designs on textiles and is a mark of authenticity of the shibori.

Our haori come with their haori himo. When we inspect and review each haori, we make it a point not to remove and resell the haori himo if they are with the coat. Most of our haori have haori himo attached, though there will be some exceptions. Haori himo come in a wide variety of styles, lengths, and colors.
