This elegant maruguke obijime is bold red and metallic gold color with a tortoise shell tile pattern. Obijime are most commonly worn with nagoya, fukuro, and maru obi. Obijime has a range of styles in which they can be tied, and there are many guides to styles in books and other sites. This is considered a more formal style of obijime.
 
Obijime Condition: B, gently used with minor flaws in the form of some light fray along the design from use. It would be possible to trim the fray to improve the look, or hide the fray when worn. Tassles would benefit from gentle grooming.
