Join Ohio Kimono at Gencon as we host a beginner-friendly kimono dressing workshop! This foundational kimono dressing workshop is designed for beginners to introduce core concepts and includes a live dressing demonstration. Feel free to bring your kimono, and questions! We will be demonstrating a dressing that conforms to traditional kimono dressing styles in Japan, but we will also mention alternative kimono fashion.

This kimono workshop is designed for beginners in mind, and is inclusionary to all communities. We will be focusing on yukata dressing while also reviewing kimono dressing tools associated with other forms of kitsuke such as what a makura is, a korin belt, and other useful kimono tools.
