It was over 30 years ago when a young Japanese women posed in her lovely furisode for a photo. Many years later her daughter would wear the same furisode and pose for a photo as well. Kimono make great family heirlooms and will tell the story of generations. The photo below is of the mother and daughter, both wearing the same kimono 30 years apart.
